Group Manifesto work:  What is the biggest problem in the world today?  How can it be fixed?

Week of May 3-7

Due 5/3:  final copies of Poetry Month poem (11+)

Week of April 26-30

Due 4/27:  write a letter to a government official about an issue you care about (rough draft)

Due 4/26: complete IM ?s for pgs. 1232, 1358 & 1383.  Create questions from poetry lines 9, 15, and 40 on pg. 1270, then answer the questions, using all previous poems (pgs. 1232-1383) for support.

Week of April 19-23

Due 4/19:  complete IM ?s for pgs. 1151-1152 (plus Crea.WR #1or#2), 1231 (plus AM), 1333 (plus Cre. or Cri. WR)

Week of April 12-16

Due 4/16:  Metamorphosis Butterfly / Beetle / self changes essay

in class 4/14:  read Rilke poems from Lit. book:  explain figurative language
